Welcome New GJEF Board Members

We are proud to introduce our three new board members: Timothy Hardwick, Abraham Johnson and Monica Viggiano. All three reside in the southwest Georgia/Florida area, allowing us to establish vital connections with our Scholars in the counties we serve in that area.

Timothy was one of our two first GJEF Scholars
in 2004. Earned a BS-Middle Grades Education from
Albany State University in 2012 and teaches 5th Grade
at his alma mater: Radium Springs Elementary School in Albany, GA

Abrahamm Johnson

Abraham Johnson has been a GJEF
Scholar since 2011. Earned a BS-Biology
with a Minor in General Sciences from
Savannah State University in 2015. Abraham
is pursuing a Masters in Public Health-Social
& Behavioral Sciences at Georgia Southern
University, Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public
Health in Statesboro, GA. Graduation: May 2018


Monica Viggiano is a Master Student
and Academic Tutor at Florida State
College at Jacksonville from which she holds an
Associate of Arts degree. She brings 25 years
of customer service experience and is pursuing
an English degree at FSC. Graduation: June 2018
